You can designate that contributions can be made to theR.I.N.G. Retirees Association Emergency Support Fund
through our "In Lieu of Flowers" program.

Here's how:
What is it?
The RING Retiree Association has developed a program that allows families to designate the RING Emergency Support Fund as an option for friends and relatives to pay their respects at a time of bereavement.
This “In Lieu of Flowers” donation will help support the R.I.N.G. Retirees Association Emergency Support Fund, a program that donates 100% of its income to RI National Guard men and women, plus retired members of the Retirees Association.  The “in lieu of flowers” program is offered to all families and individuals; no personal military history is required.

Our Program
Upon receipt of donations, the Emergency Support Fund Committee will send thank you cards to individual donors on behalf of the family and the RING Retirees Association. The family will get a summary of all donations, including the amount and when we mailed the thank you cards. The funeral home will get a summary of all donations (without the amount), if requested.
All of these steps will be done in a timely manner, but no later than four weeks after the funeral. We will follow-up as necessary for late donations. Contributions are tax deductible.

Details and applications for the R.I.N.G. Retirees Association Emergency Support Fund are located on this website
